Job summary

Remote Medical International seeks a Medical Care Coordinator to support the RMI Global Coordination Centre. Under indirect supervision, you will facilitate access to local medical care, assist with payments to third-party facilities, and serve as the patient advocate in operational areas.

You will deploy to pre-defined facilities, translate between local dialects and English, and maintain clear updates to the GCC about patient status and plans, while upholding professionalism and cross-cultural

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical healthcare professional in area of operation.
Bilingual in local language/dialect and English.
Foreign travel experience.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Demonstrated self-discipline.
Ability to integrate into a cross-cultural social structure.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage access to local medical care for RMI patients and coordinate with GCC.
Deploy to predefined medical facilities within 1 hour of GCC notification.
Coordinate payment methods with facilities and mediate between medical facility and GCC.
Provide translation between local dialect and English, verbally and in writing, to the GCC.
Provide timely updates to the GCC on patient status and proposed plans, in writing and verbally.
