Job summary

The Addison Group is partnering with a healthcare organization in Allentown, PA seeking a Bilingual Patient Account Representative. This role assists patients with Medicaid eligibility, insurance benefits, financial counseling, and medical assistance applications.

The position requires bilingual English and Spanish abilities, a high school diploma/GED, and familiarity with healthcare or insurance processes. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Healthcare, patient access, medical billing, or insurance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility or financial assistance programs is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Medicaid and medical assistance applications.
• Provide financial counseling related to medical bills, insurance coverage, and payment options.
• Educate patients on available financial assistance programs and resources.
• Communicate with patients, clinical staff, social workers, and insurance companies.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Travel to local healthcare facilities as needed (mileage reimbursed).
