Job summary

HealthNet is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to greet patients, gather information, and schedule appointments across locations in Indianapolis, IN. You will handle registrations, coordinate referrals, and provide directions and transportation assistance as needed.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish, possess a high school diploma, and can manage high call volumes with professionalism and accuracy while ensuring ADA compliance and friendly service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with patients, receives initial phone call from patient and/or referring Provider via telephone.
• Accurately completes registrations and pre-registrations for patients.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Provides directions to health center locations.
• Provides direction to schedule transportation through patients’ insurance provider if needed.
• Collects, completes and data enters time audits for patient’s visits and no shows.
