Job summary

Health Services of North Texas seeks a Patient Access Navigator to support enrollment, scheduling, and information access for patients in a community health setting. The role emphasizes helping patients with limited options for care and requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and strong customer service.

You will gather and verify patient information, assist with insurance/Billing processes, and coordinate referrals while working within our interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-year full-time experience in a medical front office.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare and ACA benefits/coverage.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and intake processes.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for program eligibility and support enrollment.
• Support payer portal scheduling and monitoring.
• Gather patient, clinical and financial information to aid care.
• Educate patients and families on HSNT services and programs.
• Enter new patient data into the EMR system accurately.
• Coordinate referrals, MOUs, and communications with partners.
• Maintain relationships with providers and care managers.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
