Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and telephone etiquette; schedules patients per their needs.
• Maintains professional verbal communication and active listening with patients.
• Manages incoming calls; serves as first contact for Variety Care.
• Strives to meet or exceed Patient Access performance measures.
• Proficient in EPIC scheduling and patient access workflows.
• Uses screening tools to assess patient acuity for appropriate services.
• Attends meetings and trainings for quality improvement.
• Collects accurate information from patients during calls.
• Uses LEADS for coaching and daily questions.
• Follows HIPAA and Privacy policies.
• Ensures office equipment is functioning; reports issues.
• Handles patient or specialty complaints with manager support.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and leadership within the department.
• Supports Triple Aim goals and continuous improvement.
