Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Knowledge of commercial and managed care payors and related terminology.
• Familiarity with ICD coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for consultations, procedures and tests and register them in the system.
• Greet patients and collect demographic and insurance information and charges.
• Verify insurance eligibility using electronic verification or payer contact.
• Obtain pre-certification/authorization as required by payers.
• Maintain organization and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Support billing processes by ensuring accurate information is captured.
