Qualifications

• One year of experience in scheduling or patient access in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for consultations, procedures and/or tests.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information; assign charges for services.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; use electronic verification systems.
• Obtain pre-certification/authorization as required by payer.
• Provide professional customer service while managing multiple tasks.
