Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of scheduling or patient access experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• CHAA preferred.
• Training or educational background with medical terminology and ICD coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for consultations, procedures and tests.
• Register patient demographics and insurance information.
• Enter charges for services rendered for billing.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications as required.
