Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-year front office experience in a medical environment.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare/ACA benefits and coverage.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and intake processes.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and payer communications.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for program eligibility and assist enrollment.
• Support scheduling and monitoring in patient payer portals.
• Collect patient, clinical, and financial information to optimize care.
• Educate patients and families on HSNT services and programs.
• Enter new patient information accurately into the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals, MOUs, and communication with partners.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Communicate with providers, care managers, and payer sources.
• Participate in quality initiatives and assist as needed.
