Job summary

You will assist Passenger Service Agents in their duties, manage day-to-day administration, liaise with carriers, maintain training records, and help maintain staff morale while covering shortages as needed. Candidates should meet the listed education and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year college certificate or technical school, six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to supervise up to 10-15 passenger service agents.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and a physical.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and support the Passenger Services team.
• Assist Passenger Service Agents in their duties to ensure professional, safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure smooth operation through coordination between department and agencies to achieve on-time performance.
• Monitor, evaluate and recommend training needs and maintain training records for Agents.
• Attend day-to-day administration tasks (ordering supplies, improving staff procedures, communications, investigating problems/delays).
• Liaise with Carriers’ representatives to meet requirements and standards.
• Assist in maintaining staff morale and open communication with staff.
• Cover manpower shortages and assist wherever necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
