Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tampa is seeking a responsible Passenger Services Supervisor to coordinate and support a team of agents, ensuring professional and safe performance and on-time operations. You will work across departments and with carriers to meet service standards and resolve delays.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, leadership ability to supervise 10–15 agents, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year college certificate or technical school; six months related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise up to 10-15 passenger service agents.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing including drug test and a physical.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and support the Passenger Services team.
• Assist Passenger Service Agents in their assigned areas to ensure they perform duties professionally, safely and efficiently.
• Ensure smooth operation through coordination between departments and agencies to achieve on-time performance.
• Monitor, evaluate and recommend training needs and maintain training records for Agents.
• Attend day-to-day administration, including ordering supplies, improving staff procedures and communications, and investigating problems/delays.
• Liaise with Carriers’ representatives to ensure their requirements and standards are met.
• Assist in maintaining staff morale and ensure open communication with staff.
• Cover manpower shortages and assist whenever necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
