Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist in Henderson, KY to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in completing tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will benefit from opportunities to engage with professional customers and participate in various store operations.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, handle cash and payments, process returns, and respond to inquiries by phone or in person.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise with a friendly, courteous manner.
• Support store management and installers in servicing professional customers as directed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policy.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
• Answer store calls per policy, lookup parts, quote prices, and upsell related items.
• Support image maker and planogram updates, stocking, and fronting.
• Perform daily operational tasks including returns, inventory counts, and stock adjustments.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services where allowed by state/local laws (e.g., wipers, batteries, diagnostics)
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required.
