Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist who will provide a high level of service to retail and installer customers and support store management in accomplishing tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL duties include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, supporting professional customers, and handling calls while processing cash/credit transactions. Occasional deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Able to multitask between phone and in-store customers.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Handle exchanges and returns in accordance with policy.
• Perform stock updates, planogram updates, and door-to-shelf tasks.
• Provide in-store services (wipers, batteries, test codes, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
