Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Kentucky is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management.

You will greet customers, look up parts, process cash and credit transactions, handle exchanges, and help with stocking, planograms, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• ASE certification is desired.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in the selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone and look up parts, quote prices, and offer related items.
• Maintain cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Assist with stocking shelves, planogram updates, and daily image maker tasks.
• Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
