Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service for retail and installer customers. The role supports store management, with bilingual candidates encouraged.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, help professional customers, and handle transactions according to policy. Responsibilities include cash handling, exchanges/returns, complaints resolution, stock updates, and in-store services after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in store simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Handle cash drawer, process cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, and fronting.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
