Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Parent Educator to support at-risk families in Illinois through in-home visits, teaching homemaking and parenting skills, and connecting families with community resources. The role emphasizes safeguarding children, confidentiality, and compassionate engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's level degree in Human Services or equivalent from an accredited college.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, creative, and compassionate to meet family needs.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with families in their homes, teaching homemaking skills and parenting.
• Observe family interactions and guide parents and children accordingly.
• Provide transportation for parents and children to appointments.
• Report child abuse and neglect and maintain accurate records.
