Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Bilingual Safety Case Manager based in Lisle, IL, serving the Aurora area. In this role, you will help families access community resources and prevent crises that could lead to foster care.

Core responsibilities include providing in-home safety services, managing family support networks, and conducting regular assessments to ensure children's safety. Ideal candidates will have a social work degree, bilingual skills, and a passion for community welfare.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work with 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s with 3 years.
• Must be willing to obtain CWEL and CERAP certification.
• Valid driver’s license with 3 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-home safety services to children and caregivers.
• Provide timely support to clients during crisis situations.
• Conduct visits with children and families for assessments.

Skills

Bilingual English and Spanish

Excellent assessment, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to engage and maintain positive community relationships

Education
