Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist in the Indianapolis area. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, present suitable products, and process sales while meeting monthly and yearly goals.

Requirements include English and Spanish fluency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Pay starts at $18.05 per hour, with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of delivery, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience selling paint and tinting/mixing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Tint and mix products per customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries as needed.
• Maintain clean store equipment and areas.
