Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in-store and by phone, determine needs, present products, and process sales with accuracy.

Candidates should be able to read English and Spanish, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and be available for evenings and weekends; a valid driver's license is required and product knowledge will be maintained to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work without sponsorship.
• Must read/write/communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a Meets Expectations rating.
• Must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent sales service to customers in-store and by phone.
• Identify customer needs and present appropriate products and services.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and display shelves; stock and merchandise as needed.
• Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading as required.
• Stay informed about products and options to advise customers effectively.
• Help meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
