Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and present suitable products and services. You will help build trust with wholesale and retail customers while ensuring accurate transactions and adherence to policies.

The role requires English and Spanish proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb frequently and 70 lb occasionally.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a rating of at least "meets expectations" on the latest appraisal.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
