Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for Store #5027 in Pitman, NJ. You will assist customers, answer product questions, and resolve concerns while maintaining high store standards.

You will be expected to support sales goals, handle transactions, stock and tint products, and participate in deliveries as needed. Strong English and Spanish skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must meet performance expectations.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent sales service to drive customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in person and by phone, identifying needs and recommending products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies.
• Aim to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and product formulas.
• Select products from floor or warehouse as needed.
• Tint and mix products per customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean and maintain store equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
• Help with deliveries when required.
• Keep assigned areas in stock and presentable.
• Stay informed about product options and availability.
• Follow inventory control procedures.
• Suggest improvements to boost sales.
