Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in New Jersey to help wholesale and retail customers identify needs, answer product questions, and recommend solutions. You will resolve concerns promptly and uphold high quality standards while supporting store sales goals.

You will interact with customers on-site, assist with product tinting, and handle transactions and inventory with attention to accuracy and friendly service. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Read, write, comprehend and communicate in Spanish.
• Ability to tint paint and retrieve materials, lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Suggest ways to improve sales
