Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Needham, MA. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine their needs, and recommend the right paint and related products.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service while helping the store meet its sales goals. Responsibilities include handling transactions, tinting and mixing products, stocking, and aiding deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal candidate: at least a 3 rating (meets expectations).
• Internal candidate: completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent sales service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Identify needs and present appropriate products and services.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies.
• Aim to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and stock organization.
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; keep areas presentable.
• Assist in deliveries, load/unload trucks when required.
• Ensure knowledge of products and discuss options with customers.
