Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to help both wholesale and retail customers select the right products and services. You will resolve customer questions, support sales goals, and stay updated on product features while maintaining store standards.

This role requires strong communication in English and Spanish, the ability to lift items, and a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior paint retail or tinting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequently and 70 lb occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year in delivery, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Experience selling paint and tinting/mixing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
