Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for Store #5750 in Falls Church, VA. You will assist customers, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions to ensure satisfaction.

You’ll process sales, stock displays, tint/mix products, and help with deliveries while maintaining inventory and product knowledge. This role requires bilingual ability (English/Spanish) and physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams performance rating of at least “meets expectations” if applicable.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
