Job summary

Action Gypsum Supply LP seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow and maintain a customer base for building materials in the Houston area. You will manage orders, provide pricing, and coordinate fulfillment with internal teams.

You will build relationships with customers, offer technical product guidance, and travel to meet regular and prospective clients while supporting quotes and orders end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 4+ years outside sales experience required.
• 2-5 years building products experience preferred.
• Experience in construction or building supply industry helpful.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans to grow and maintain a customer base and sales leads.
• Build long-term relationships by providing price quotes and taking orders.
• Provide competitive pricing and cross-sell product lines.
• Coordinate order fulfillment, deliveries, and installation guidelines.
• Travel throughout assigned area to call on customers and prospective accounts.
• Assist customers with product information, lead times, and samples.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to fulfill orders.
• Attend trade shows and sales meetings; prepare monthly expense reports.
