Job summary

Sysco is seeking an outside sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and drive profitable sales growth within the territory.

You will develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and coordinate deliveries while providing training and product information to customers. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience or related roles.
• Restaurant management or chef experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual restaurant management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing accounts to meet sales goals.
• Qualify prospects and align offerings to customer needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customers.
• Drive to customer sites and events as required.
• Coordinate deliveries and manage order issues with transportation.
• Assist with reports, quotes, budgets and administrative tasks.
