Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our World Class Sales Team in a role focused on outside sales, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and driving growth. The position may involve non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You will develop business, educate customers on our products, and coordinate with credit and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. A valid license and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Valid driver's license with insurability standard met

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable sales growth
• Qualify prospects and follow company account stratification goals
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mix
• Communicate market trends and product innovations to customers
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events
• Manage routing, deliveries, and order issue resolution
