Reach Out West End in Jurupa Valley, CA is hiring an Outreach Specialist to collaborate with diverse communities and networks. This on-site role requires developing and delivering outreach interventions, workshops, and presentations to enhance program services and engagement.

The position emphasizes cultural competence, translation support when needed, and strong collaboration with partners. A flexible schedule and travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two (2) years of community engagement experience.
• Fluent bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct presentations, workshops, and events to increase community involvement and outreach to diverse communities.
• Provide accurate, culturally competent resources, referrals, and education to community members.
• Prepare clear, professional written materials including flyers, procedures, reports, and correspondence.
• Represent the agency professionally in all community-facing interactions.
• Attend and participate in community events, meetings, and conferences to engage stakeholders and promote services.
• Collaborate with local agencies, schools, businesses, and community organizations to build partnerships.
