Job summary

NOAH (Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Associate Behavioral Health Counselor to provide outpatient counseling to clients and families under clinical supervision. The role emphasizes confidentiality, treatment planning, and crisis coordination.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, AZ licensure eligibility (LAC/LMSW/LAMFT), and English/Spanish bilingual preference.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or another behavioral health field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure (LAC/LMSW/LAMFT) in Arizona.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling to clients and families under supervision.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, individual/couple/family/group sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate treatment records.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans based on clinical judgment.
• Coordinate services and advocate for clients in crisis situations.
• Participate in supervision, trainings and quality improvement activities.
• Meet productivity expectations and participate in meetings and community outreach.
