Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) in Arizona is seeking a Clinical Assessor functioning as a Behavioral Health Technician under the supervision of a licensed Behavioral Health Professional. Qualifications

• Knowledge of DSM-5 and clinical principles.
• Ability to work cohesively within a treatment team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interaction across diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and complete all required documentation (ROI, Consents, PHQ-9, ASAM, CALOCUS).
• Collaborate with providers, case managers, and teams to support caseloads and treatment plans.
• Participate in staff meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Process Releases of Information (ROI) for prior outpatient/inpatient services.
• Provide outreach and engagement following crisis interventions.
• Deliver supportive counseling under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Engage patients to overcome barriers to appointment adherence.
• Connect patients with community resources and document interactions.
• Educate patients on available services and facilitate linkages.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in case management and service delivery.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Meet productivity expectations and perform other duties as assigned.
