Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for 2nd shift in Carteret, NJ. You will supervise inbound/outbound logistics, plan labor and space, and communicate with clients to ensure on-time delivery and efficiency.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, training, and performance evaluations, with emphasis on safety, quality, and cost control. Must be fluent in English and Spanish, with forklift training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift training/certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, and product slotting activities daily.
• Plan labor, space, equipment, and manpower to meet goals.
• Train and evaluate warehouse staff; manage performance.
• Ensure safety, quality, and SOP adherence; meet client KPIs.
