DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Carteret, NJ. The role oversees inbound/outbound activities, labor planning, and product slotting while maintaining safety and quality across the warehouse.

The supervisor will manage staff, train and evaluate performance, and coordinate with HR and management to meet client KPIs. English and Spanish bilingual ability is required, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years' experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Forklift training certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities.
• Inform senior management and client representatives of critical issues affecting operations.
• Develop and apply systems for safe, profitable operations and KPI attainment.
• Suggest cost saving measures and process improvements.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; support HR activities and promotions.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign duties to warehouse staff.
• Ensure staffing aligns with time sensitivity and resource availability.
