Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Scheduler in El Paso, TX to check out patients, schedule upcoming appointments, and possibly cover the check-in desk. You will work with front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow, schedule office visits, diagnostic appointments, infusion and lab work, and review provider orders in the EMR.

Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare scheduling, are fluent in Spanish, possess strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple systems in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling for hospital, busy clinic, or surgery center.
• Strong multitasking in multiple systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology/coding.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and strong personality.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual Spanish; Athena EMR experience.
• Experience with an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Schedule office visits, diagnostic appointments, infusion therapy and lab work appointments.
• Review provider orders in the EMR.
• Schedule 70–80 appointments per day.
• Assist patients with cost inquiries and refer to financial counselors when needed.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles.
