You will communicate clearly, call referring physicians when scheduling is difficult, and maintain accurate RIS entries while updating patient information. The position emphasizes professionalism, empathy, and meticulous clerical work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical insurance plans.
• Ability to pre-register and schedule patients rapidly and accurately.
• General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Provides clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule and cancel exams for patients.
• Perform pre-registration, faxes and scans documents.
• Handle call backs and customer service-related requests.
• Communicate preparations to patients and stakeholders.
• Enter accurate information in RIS for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and comment entry.
• Update account information at the point of scheduling.
• Properly schedules all procedures.
