Job summary

Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) in New York City seeks an Outreach Coordinator to connect immigrant communities with free, confidential immigration legal services and MOIA resources. You’ll promote services, coordinate trainings, and partner with schools, parishes, and community orgs across five boroughs.

The role emphasizes field outreach, collaboration with program staff, and ensuring access to services for immigrants and asylum seekers. Some weekend/evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional training.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to convene and lead meetings.
• Willingness to travel to all five boroughs and occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate outreach strategy with community partners.
• Attend events to promote CCCS legal services and provide information.
• Develop trainings, presentations, and outreach materials.
• Update resources in attendee packets and partner information.
• Track outreach presentations and attendance with CRM and data systems.
• Maintain knowledge of city agencies and external referrals.
• Support program coordinators with scheduling and attendee confirmations.
• Assist intake with client communications while maintaining confidentiality.
