Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• 3 years processing experience with loan program guidelines.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional loan programs.
• Experience with processing software and internet programs.
• Ability to review credit reports.
• Capable of handling 50+ credit files simultaneously.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to pass background investigation and drug screen.
• Team player capable of working with others.
• Must work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Open and review information obtained by loan officer.
• Gather credit and income information required for loan program.
• Inform loan officer/underwriter of issues during processing.
• Process the file from post-officer until closing.
• Meet with customers to explain issues and regulations.
• Close transactions for the Title Company when necessary.
• Order required documents for final approval: appraisal, title work, insurance, etc.
• Assist loan officer with any function.
• Other duties as assigned.
