Job summary

Leidos in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Bilingual Mortgage Origination Professional to join the FHA Resource Center. As a Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative, you will handle FHA guidelines inquiries, use knowledge bases to locate answers, follow SOPs, and document all contacts in a database while staying current on FHA processes.

The position requires English/Spanish bilingual skills, a high school diploma or GED, and 2 years of mortgage origination or related

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 2 years mortgage origination experience (e.g. loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer).
Minimum of 1 year of contact center experience or telephone customer service experience.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including credit check and background investigation.
Bilingual in English and Spanish - verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, answering calls and emails from lending industry and public on FHA guidelines and procedures.
Use knowledge of the mortgage industry to locate answers in a knowledge database to acknowledge client requests.
Follow standard operating procedures for topics, systems, and contact channels.
Document all contacts in a database.
Keep up to date on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
