Universal Processing is seeking a Merchant Consultant in the United States (California) for a mid-level sales role. You will be the brand ambassador, introducing our business solutions to clients and driving growth through paid training and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
• Bilingual proficiency in English AND Mandarin-Chinese OR Vietnamese OR Spanish is required; reading and writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of sales and/or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Generates leads, cold-calls, and prospects potential clients.
• Conducts in-person meetings to determine customer needs and presents payment, merchant financing and marketing solutions.
• Performs pricing analysis by reviewing clients’ statements and initiates proposals accordingly.
• Follows up with potential merchants by reviewing product features, benefits, and terms.
• Closes sales in a timely and effective manner.
• Develops new sales opportunities within the client base.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referrals and affiliates.
• Creates and develops marketing programs to increase sales.
