Job summary

Universal Processing LLC (uP) in Houston, TX seeks a Sales Specialist to be brand ambassador, generating leads and closing deals for payment solutions. You will conduct in-person meetings, analyze client needs, present merchant services, and work toward uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US at time of hire; E-Verify employer.
• Bilingual proficiency in a second language; reading and writing required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 2–4 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Merchant service industry experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail orientation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates leads, cold-calls, and prospects potential clients.
• Conducts in-person meetings to determine customer needs and presents solutions.
• Performs pricing analysis by assessing client statements and proposals.
• Follows up with potential merchants by reviewing features, benefits, and terms.
• Closes sales in a timely and effective manner.
• Develops and maintains new lead sources and referral networks.
• Creates and develops marketing programs to increase sales.
