Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass credit union fluency testing and maintain working knowledge of English and a second language.
• At least 1 year of interpreting experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience or an Associate’s Degree.
• General knowledge of the credit union and its services preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreter services between staff and bilingual members.
• Assist online, mobile, and phone banking users (password resets, unlocking accounts, bill pay inquiries).
• Maintain accuracy and professionalism in all tasks.
• Balance productivity with service goals and teamwork.
• Uphold the credit union’s seven service standards of welcoming all and putting people first.
