Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking a Bilingual Member Flex Guide to support English- and Spanish-speaking members across inbound service, proactive outreach, and clinical administration. You will translate complex terms, help members navigate care, and schedule appointments while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

You will work with AI Guide Assistant to provide accurate, real-time information and adapt to seasonal business needs. Strong empathy and cultural awareness are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• 1+ years in a high-volume customer-facing role, contact center, or healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and strong communication to connect across diverse communities.
• Ability to translate complex insurance/medical concepts clearly in both languages.
• Comfort using AI-powered tools and navigating several software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Engage in English and Spanish across channels (calls, SMS, chat, email, video).
• Translate complex healthcare and insurance terms into clear guidance.
• Be a trusted contact to help members find language-congruent providers and schedule appointments.
• Proactively reach out in members’ preferred language about screenings and programs.
• Escalate clinical issues when needed and collaborate with bilingual teammates.
