Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Member Service Representative for our San Diego, CA team. You will initiate conversations to identify member needs and maintain relationships by delivering exceptional service.

The role includes processing deposits and payments, handling cash, and supporting night and ATM operations. We value bilingual (English/Spanish) communication, prior cash handling, and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.
• Process share deposit payments, loan payments, manual payrolls, and account transfers.
• Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
• Post and log night, ATM, and mail deposits.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
