Job summary

Oportun is seeking a bilingual Member Loyalty Representative to greet members, handle transactions, and educate communities about our affordable financial services. You will travel between store locations and outreach sites to generate applications, while meeting daily goals and maintaining security and accuracy.

The role requires weekend availability, a friendly sales orientation, light housekeeping, and comfort working outdoors as needed. Training provided; competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must be outgoing, sales-focused, and enjoy speaking with people.
• Must love to help members, including prospective members through outreach and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Seamlessly process all transactions, while following company policies & procedures and protecting members’ information.
• Work as a team or independently, including time alone in the store without direct supervision or with coworkers, while exceeding daily goals in lending and servicing activities.
• Engage in outreach efforts more than 50% of the time at Oportun locations, partner locations and community events to educate about services and start applications.
• Build relationships with local businesses and speak with owners about how Oportun’s services can help their customers.
• Conduct outreach at flea markets, community events, and partner locations to increase awareness and capture leads.
• Assist with applications and encourage store visits; support community outreach and marketing events; use iPads for starting applications.
