Job summary

Marine Credit Union is seeking a Member Advocate I to welcome and support members as they pursue their financial goals. You will build genuine relationships, explain products, and guide members through basic account transactions and digital tools in a friendly, community-focused branch.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people, communicates clearly, and is eager to learn new systems. Bilingual skills are a plus, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping people and delivering outstanding service.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with computers and eagerness to learn new systems.
• Cash handling or banking experience is a plus (not required).
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support members, ensuring every visit is a great experience.
• Build genuine relationships and learn about members’ financial goals.
• Perform account transactions and assist with digital banking tools.
• Basic account opening
• Educate members about products and services that support their financial success.
• Make meaningful outreach calls to strengthen member relationships.
• Collaborate with a supportive branch team that celebrates shared success.
