Rosewood Family Health Center in Portland, OR, is hiring a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, manage logs, translate as needed, and help patients navigate appointments and insurance.

The role includes scheduling, data entry, and basic billing support, with competitive hourly pay and full-time status. Excellent customer service and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience as a receptionist in a clinic preferred.
• Bilingual in Cantonese/English/Spanish preferred at a high level.

Responsabilités

• Answer the phone, transfer calls and take messages for the clinic.
• Greet patients and maintain logs; provide translation as needed.
• Data entry: register new patients and update patient data in the computer.
• Schedule patient appointments and update providers of no-shows/cancellations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and file documentation; assist questions about plans.
