Allied Physicians CamKids Pediatrics in Cambria Heights, NY seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, register records, and coordinate front-desk activities in a busy pediatric office.

You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect copays, answer calls, and maintain patient information with accuracy and care. This full-time role requires 1–3 years of experience and bilingual English/Creole.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Medical Receptionist experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English and Haitian Creole required.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and support a team.
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional approach.
• Schedule appointments, register patients, and maintain accurate patient information.
• Answer phones, manage messages, and assist with office communication.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and assist with referrals, forms, and scanning.
• Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay organized, professional, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
