Spanish bilingual ability is required, along with basic computer skills and a commitment to excellent customer service in a charity health care environment serving diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
• ≥1 year receptionist/front desk experience.
• Valid NY ID/license (driver or non-driver).
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors entering the clinic.
• Handle telephone inquiries and provide information to callers.
• Take and relay messages to the appropriate personnel.
• Direct visitors and patients to the correct destinations.
• Answer calls with TFH greeting and route to departments.
• Confirm patient appointments as directed.
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments.
• Maintain tidiness of the reception and waiting area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
