Positive Impact Health Centers in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check in, schedule appointments, and maintain records. This role supports front desk operations and patient flow in a busy healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree with at least two years of medical front office experience and familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare billing; strong communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with minimum two years’ experience in a medical front office.
• Knowledge of basic medical billing and insurance workflows, Medicaid/Medicare a plus.
• Excellent communication, writing, listening and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers multiple phone lines professionally and routes calls appropriately.
• Check in patients and complete registration; verify demographics and insurance.
• Manage patient flow and assist with medical information forms and HIPAA compliance.
• Post payments, reconcile receipts, and assist with claims for non-insurance tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide a welcoming environment for patients.
