MedLink Georgia in Winder, GA is seeking a dedicated Front Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients and to support clinicians with a welcoming, organized front desk experience.

The role requires strong communication, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and comfort handling check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced medical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a medical front office or customer service role.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and update patient records.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Support clinic operations by collaborating with providers and clinical staff.
